"Raleigh police are asking for the public's help in locating a missing man.
Officers say Rashid Smith, also known as DJ Kool Sheed, was last seen Sunday morning leaving his home. Smith is a well known DJ in the area having performed on the radio and in clubs for many years.
Family members say his disappearance is very out of character. Anyone with any information on his whereabouts is asked to call police."
