Born and raised in the Carolinas, Young Dirt is putting his mark on the hip-hop scene. Like most rappers, real life situations inspired Young Dirt to put his pen to paper and give us the story board of his life. It is a life which reflects a lower class upbringing with hard working family values, experiencing the death of loved ones and the joy of fatherhood. Young Dirt writes, produces and engineers all of his music and he served a brief stint in the military which shaped his new perspective on life – the Young Dirt “point of view”. That “pov” has become a musical transformation, and is deeming him the new reigning rap “ambassador” of the Carolinas.
