**NEWS** Cocaine Queen, Griselda Blanco, shot dead at age 69.

According to the newspaper El Colombiano, two assassins on motorcycles shot Griselda Blanco as she walked out of a butcher shop. She was hit twice in the head and died immediately. Blanco was 69.

She is infamous for trafficking large metric ton shipments of cocaine from her homeland of Colombia in the 1970's and 1980's. The drug lord for the Medellin Cartel was a pioneering drug trafficker in Miami, Florida until she was apprehended in 1985. She spent almost 2 decades in prison for cocaine trafficking and three murders. However, the case fell apart in 2004 and she was released and deported back to Colombia.
